Deposit and Final Payment
Payment will indicate acceptance of these conditions.
For apartment bookings within 21 days or less of arrival, the full payment is to be charged by credit card and receipted by a paid invoice.
For apartment bookings over 21 days or more prior to arrival, the 50% deposit will be charged immediately
and the balance must be paid at least 21 days prior to check-in on invoice issued.
A 1.5% surcharge applies to credit card payments.
GST is included in all quotations provided.
Where deposits or final payments are not received by due dates, Tourist Australia reserves the right to cancel
the booking.
Payment Options.
American Express, Mastercard, Visa are all accepted.
Telegraphic transfer may be allowed in the exception of overseas circumstances.
Cancellations
Notification provided from the date of reservation confirmation up to 7 days prior to the check-in date will incurr a loss of deposit only.
Notification provided less than 7 days prior to the check-in date will incurr a 100% cancellation fee representing the total rental fee.
Amendments to Dates or Apartment
Up to 5 days prior to check-in, a $90.00 amendment fee.
Within 5 days prior to arrival, no refund for any cancelled days after date of the original check-in date.
Tourist Australia reserves the right due to unforeseen circumstances to move or upgrade where necessary.
Apartment Servicing
All apartments are self catering, that is, they are cleaned after a guest's departure for which a departure clean is charged to the guest.
Guests may organize a weekly clean at extra cost separately with a cleaner recommended by Tourist Australia
Check-in and Check-Out
Check-in is at 2.00 p.m. and check out is 10.00 a.m. Strictly.
For Apartment Key collection, tenants must contact Tourist Australia 7 days prior to arrival or departure.
Tourist Australia will not be held responsible if guest fails to contact Tourist Australia office as per this term.
To organize an early apartment check-in being 8.30 a.m. onwards, the apartment must be booked and paid for from the previous night.
For arrivals after 7.00 p.m the guest must contact the office regarding arrival time to be advised as to the place where the keys may be collected.
Any check-out after 10.00 a.m may incur another nights charge to the credit card..
Extra Charges
Prices and rates for short stay apartment accommodation featured in the website refer to occupancy / use of the normal existing beds in the apartment.
Additional charges will apply if extra beds or linen (including sofa beds, roll-a-ways, cots and high chairs) are required.
An extra charge will be charged if the guest has left the apartment in an extremely messy / dirty condition causing more than normal cleaning effort.
Apex 303 Short Stay Apartment Description
The description of the Apex 303 apartment located in North Sydney and facilities aims to be accurate but apartment fittings and facilities
can sometimes alter or be upgraded so Tourist Australia cannot be held liable for omissions, or errors of
property facilities or furnishings or subjective judgments as to the property fittings, styles or features.
Extensions
Guests are to advise 7 days prior to the end of their apartment stay period, should they require an extension of their apartment short stay period. If the guest has not advised by this day the guest will be
contacted. If no advice has been received, the extension will automatically be cancelled immediately
and the guest advised of such by the following day.
Tourist Australia reserves the right to cancel an apartment stay extension made provided it has contacted the guest to see
if it wishes to take up the requested extension at that time.
Landlords Access
Tourist Australia or its agents have the right to inspect the apartment at any stage during the tenancy
provided reasonable notice has been given by the agent.
Repairs and Damage
The tenant agrees to keep the apartment reasonably clean during thier stay and to be liable for all damage caused to the
apartment beyond the normal wear and tear including loss of furnishings including keys or access.
Locks and Security Devices
The landlord agrees not to alter locks or security devices without a reasonable excuse.
If a tenant locks themselves out of their apartment after 6.00 pm or on weekends, there will be a charge of $100.00 per visit if
Tourist Australia staff are called out.
Termination
The tenant agrees, upon termination of the apartment rental period to peacefully deliver vacant possession and all keys.
All payments relating to the North Sydney apartment are to have been made prior to hand over of keys.
Collection of the keys to be arranged with Tourist Australia at least three (3) days prior to departure.
Loss and Damage
No responsibility is taken by Tourist Australia for any personal property of the tenant during the tenant's stay or for property left in the apartment after departure.
Tourist Australia and its staff shall not be liable for any loss or damage relating to he personal property of the tenant except where that loss or damage is due to the negligence or willful default of Tourist Australia or any of its staff or agents.
Travel Insurance is suggested to cover loss of valuable items when traveling.
